Reasons to Believe keeps sending me books, and this one, finally, doesn't seem like a giant scientific tome. Plus the subject is certainly interesting to a science-fiction fan such as myself, even though I pretty much know RTB's stance on the subject.
I did, however, like how Jeff presented the arguments for and against life out in the universe. Mostly he and RTB believe that we are so uniquely special and created by God, so that we won't ever find anything "out there." But ultimately, even if we do, it does not destroy the foundation for Christian faith as some people believe. Jeff laid out several decent interpretations for incorporating the Biblical history with the discovery of extraterrestrial life, including a trilogy by CS Lewis I've enjoyed reading: The Space Trilogy. Might have to go back and re-read that!
