An interesting book looking at the trends you can pull out of millions of data points from thousands of individuals across any number of social sites from the author's OkCupid to mainstream for-everyone services like Facebook or Twitter.

I wouldn't necessarily say I gleaned a lot of useful information out of the book other than that there is certainly a lot of useful information to glean when you have a ton of data. And the real kicker will be when today's youngest generation has data from their entire lives.

Hmm. I'm going to go put on my tinfoil hat, turn on my VPN, and stop using Google now. But of course, I'll still post my innermost thoughts on this site where the whole world can find them, though only 5 of you will ever read them...
