This doesn't seem to be the kind of book that would take me two months to get through, but it just wasn't as interesting as I had originally hoped. The concept is that many things we think are just science fiction actually exist today, at least in some form. From jetpacks to ray guns to teleportation.

Maybe it's because I already knew some of the references; maybe it's because the book is almost 10 years old and already out-of-date with the latest developments. But it wasn't nearly as interesting a read as I had originally hoped (I said that already, didn't I? Well... I'm finishing a handful of books on a sick day, so my brain isn't quite all there...)
