Series: Space Trilogy
One of my recent journal entries was lamenting the kind of fiction I've been reading lately causing me to consider too many fundamental beliefs I hold. I was jokingly writing that I should try to find stuff in that elusive genre 'Christian Science Fiction.' Well who knew? It sort of does exist. And I'm starting with a classic author of other very good Christian books - CS Lewis. Apparently he wrote a space trilogy I've never read.
This one was pretty good. It's always odd to read a science fiction book written way before the age of computers. But once I put myself in that mindset, it's easy enough to enjoy and not worry about the known inconsistencies.
The story really did a good job of coming up with an interesting sci-fi setting that incorporated a somewhat Christian worldview. I'm really excited to see what the other two books have to say!
