I decided to give Grisham another chance. After the Appeal I'm afraid to go through a whole book knowing that I might just hate the ending. Reviews of this one said it had a surprising twist at the end, which always sounds good. I don't know if I just predict things well, or maybe I missed some major point, but I wasn't too terribly surprised by the outcome of the book.
I did shout in triumph a few times during the big trial. Grisham's certainly a good writer and can weave some exciting settings!
And seriously... what's up with so many books having 416 pages? Is Amazon just being lazy?
