It started with a presentation by 3 doctors at our staff meeting. Then I watched Fathead after doing some research about Supersize Me (Fathead is hilarious, by the way). That reminded me of the author the docs at my staff meeting talked about, so I finally got this book and read it.

You can save yourself a lot of time and just watch Fathead, or read the following: carbs make us fat, which makes us sedentary. Cut the carbs, lose weight, get more energy, and improve your cholesterol. And don't cut calories to do it.

I was hoping that there'd be some practical advice about picking a doctor or about maintaining a high fiber level on a low-carb diet. I didn't get those, but I certainly got a lot of facts and information about the body's system of storing fat and energy. Whew!
