Brad Meltzer writes 'National Treasure' type novels, so I usually like his stuff. On the other hand, I'm usually left a bit disappointed. When I read 'Book of Fate' and 'Book of Lies' I kept expecting some sudden plot shift, but the story didn't deliver. With this one, I was expecting similar plot twists, and I wasn't disappointed. However, as one other reviewer online says: its enigmatic conclusion begs for a sequel. No kidding! Every single person in the story had unfinished business, and we want to know what happens to them! Of course, as I've said before, that's also probably just the mark of a good novel.
