This was an interesting memoir to read about a character I'm not sure anyone ever particularly liked in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory - Veruca Salt. But as the intro points out, the girl who plays Veruca couldn't be farther from the character. I think I agree after reading the book. It had some fun insights and talked a lot about other people, so I didn't feel it was self-centered at all (certainly not like I felt about Wil Wheaton's Just a Geek). Julie seemed grateful for her experiences and genuinely happy for the successes of all the other people she met along the way.
A fun read with lots of interesting pictures. I actually read some of it on my Transformer to see them in color, but I'll still write this one down as a "Kindle".
