I really connected with this book, mainly because the author is as big a nerd as I am (and only a couple months younger). The only thing we didn't seem to share was his enjoyment of World of Warcraft (and Buffy, but he didn't talk about that in the book).
It talked about how our generation has never been without tech in their lives, and while there are many ways it can be used for good (even Facebook can... really!), there's also a super-strong pull towards isolation. Even if you might be connecting with people online, you are still isolated and separated from them in a very real way.
