Another great Ryan North choose-your-own-adventure story, this time in the universe of one of my favorite Star Trek series: Lower Decks.
It was a fun read - and I think despite not having my typical map created beforehand (which, honestly, I wouldn't make before reading anyway), I still read it in generally a great order. I didn't get any real spoilers of the "second half" early on; in fact - I kept having a hypothesis that I'd learn a secret code and would end up applying to to each ending. The actual result was a little less exciting, but still interesting.
I do know that creating graphic novels is a lot more work than just word-based ones, but I was still a little disappointed at the volume of content. Don't get me wrong - it was a great story with some fun twists and surprises. But (especially after making the map) I noticed several sets of choices used identical or at least very similar panels, and ultimately, I would've loved more content - but that just means I enjoyed the content that WAS there.
So anyway - here's my fancy schmancy graph of the story!
