It's a good explanation of the basics of Christianity without the meddlesome nonessential quibbles. It's a great book to an intellectual who has questions, but perhaps not to a beginner / newcomer to Christianity (or someone who struggles with older writing). There's some deep stuff here. Maybe the "modern English" one would be better.
