Not the tear-jerker some list made it out to be (perhaps I AM an unfeeling android...), but it was a sweet story of 3 animals, engineered for war, who ultimately escape their captivity (and planned decommissioning). Except for a couple of characters (not mentioning species for spoiler reasons), I thought it had a pretty satisfying ending.
