Wasn't really a fan of this book at all. I could sort of see some of Scott's humor, but the characters just really irritated me as all around childish and not acting like real people would act. Plus the story of AI accidentally gets loose and gains phenomenal power has been seriously done to death. The only good thing was this didn't end as dystopian as most singularity novels, but I saw the end coming a mile away (and so could the characters if they had just asked the AI what his plans were.
